Frankly, it does what it says on the tin - so there’s not much else to say. That said, some people love hearing fluff about features, so here’s our fluff especially for you.
No app downloads or faff, just forward a voicenote directly on Whatsapp to get the summary
We have zero interest in your boring voicenotes, so they all get deleted right after the bot is done
Our bot is mostly sarcastic, but we’re training it to be a bit more polite for people that ask nicely.-
Unless our bot is drowning and the humans that fix it are asleep, you should receive a response 24/7

Still have unanswered questions and need to get in touch?
f-voicenotes instantly converts long voice notes into short text summaries. We do this with a clever WhatsApp bot, meaning once you're registered you can just forward a voice note to our WhatsApp bot's number, and it'll instantly transcribe and summarise the voice note for you.
So now the big question.. why? Well, the person behind f-voicenotes has a few friends that just love to send annoyingly long monologues as voice notes about things that really just needed one sentance of text. So to save the pain of telling those friends how annoying they were, f-voicenotes was created.
Enabling those friends to continue living in their rose tinted world where they think everyone wakes up in the morning gasping for another opportunity to hear their monotone voice ramble on for 10 minutes; while also ensuring the people who are on the receiving end of those voice notes don't miss out on anything.
f-voicenotes is free during our Beta. We're also exploring different pricing options to ensure the service running costs are covered once the platform begins to scale with more users. We anticipate this will become a Freemium type service, where you can send up to 30 minutes of voice notes to the f-voicenotes bot each month for free - and then buy bundles of minutes to extend that if required.
In summary, it's free right now but will eventually have some usage limitations and/or costs involved and we haven't yet decided what those will be.
No, clearly not. If you're not even interested in listening to voice notes sent by your friends - why on earth would we want to? Our WhatsApp bot uses machine-to-machine communication to receive your voice note, transcribe it into text and summarise it. We only keep the voice note audio file for a few seconds while we process it, and as soon as we've sent you the summary on WhatsApp it gets deleted.
No, we cannot access your WhatsApp account or messages. When you sign-up to use f-voicenotes you submit a phone number on our website and then send a WhatsApp message to activate the number in our system. Once you've activated your phone number with our WhatsApp bot, you can start forwarding voice notes to the f-voicenotes WhatsApp bot. And just the same as how any other person you forward a message or voice note to does not get access to your WhatsApp account or messages, we also do not.
No, you do not need to download any app to use f-voicenotes. To use our service you must first register on our website and then complete the phone number activation process. Once activated, you simply forward a voice note to our bot directly on WhatsApp - making it easy to use and without any app download.
